Middleton, WI- With the 2018-19 USHL schedule to be released in the coming weeks the 'Face-lift 2 Face-off' has begun. The Madison Capitols have embarked on the summer-long renovations at Bob Suter’s Capitol Ice Arena. Under the guidance of McGann Construction, the arena will undergo a complete face-lift before our first puck drop in October.
The arena will offer a new second level mezzanine and beer garden, seven new luxury suites along the north side of the arena, and installing new seating throughout the entire arena. These new amenities will greatly enhance the viewing experience for all fans. In addition, a new video board, installed at the west end, will replace the current center-ice scoreboard to create a more engaging in-game experience for fans. The arena will also offer an expanded food and drink menu, including the “Eagle’s Nest” in its new location in the second level mezzanine. “We are really excited about our future here in Middleton and can’t wait for our fans to experience the arena this fall. It will provide a great atmosphere and we are excited for the season to begin in October,” stated President Andrew Joudrey.
The Madison Capitols will be hosting an ‘Open House’ in September to showcase the improvements; we can’t wait to see you all for the 2018-19 season! Season tickets, flex packs, group, and single game tickets are now available for sale.
