Two Capitols Named to USHL All-Rookie Second Team

O’Reilly, Mancinelli honored by the league

MADISON, WI - The Madison Capitols, a member of the United States Hockey League, honored center Michael Mancinelli and right wing Ryan O’Reilly as they were named to the USHL All-Rookie Second Team, the league announced on Tuesday.
 
Mancinelli, 16, finished the 2017-18 season ranked sixth on the Capitols and in the USHL with 35 points (17-18=35).  The 5-foot-9, 166-pound native of Northville, MI, finished tied for third on the team with 17 goals and ranked eighth with 18 assists.  Mancinelli is committed to University of North Dakota for the 2020-21 season.
 
O’Reilly, 18, ended the 2017-18 season ranked seventh on the Capitols and tied for seventh in the USHL with 34 points (21-13=34).  The 6-foot-2, 201-pound native of Dallas, TX, finished the season ranked second on the team and tied for second in the USHL with 21 goals.  O’Reilly is committed to Denver University for the 2019-20 season.
 
Mancinelli and O’Reilly join forward Tyler Madden (Tri-City Storm), defensemen Mason Klee (Lincoln Stars) and Matt Staudacher (Muskegon Lumberjacks), and goaltender Zach Borgiel (Muskegon) on the USHL All Rookie Second Team.
