Suamico, Wisconsin native, Quinn Finley garners Week 25 USHL Forward of the Week honors for the first time in his career after his 7 point weekend against Chicago and Green Bay.

The University of Wisconsin commit registered four assists and a hat trick in three games played during last week's three-in-three. Finley recorded his first career USHL hat trick in Sunday's 8-3 victory over the Gamblers. Finley scored the games first goal 68 seconds into the 2nd period while on the power play. Finley buried his second and third goals just 11 seconds apart in the 3rd period to completely blow open the game.

The second year forward recorded three assists in Saturday's 7-3 home victory over Green Bay and added another helper in Friday's contest.

Since his return to the lineup from injury, Finley has averaged almost a point per game, scoring 14 points in 15 games played. The Capitols are 6-2 when Finley finds the back of the net this season, including a current 4-game win streak. Playing in 30 games this season, the Capitols winger has tallied a career-high 25 points (11-14-25).

This is the first time in the 2021-22 campaign a Capitols player has won Forward of the Week. Finley joins defensemen Luke Mittelstadt (Week 5 and 20) and Blake Dangos (Week 16) along with goaltender Simon Latkoczy (Week 3) as Caps players to win USHL weekly honors.
